Depots love their buses and may be painting them differently is the way they show their affection towards them. :) Deluxe buses , It has just been an year or so since B.B.U has started rolling out Super Luxuries but till then and even now, Deluxes have been Special for B.B.U. They have tweaked and rolled out a few unique color schemes over time which did not last for long but still exist as special ones and make star appearances.

Not many launches have been so successful for A.P.S.R.T.C, In what can be called a decent success Indra s have managed to make a mark in affordable long distance and premium small distance intercity services. launched along with the Garudra plus at parade grounds in early 2011, these went on to be a success which encouraged RTC to introduce re designed Indra s with increased comfort and safety . While the last quarter of 2012 saw the delivery of buses from various body builders such as Mungi, MG auto from Zaheerabad which always stands out in its over all design quotient delivered an Indra which was sanctioned to Miyapur depot and  is still serving from the same depot between KPHB and Vijayawada.

A distinct looking Ashok Leyland Indra from Miyapur-1 depot.

4th generation middle door light blue metro express was fitted with led boards and passenger information system 2 years back when apsrtc had its own plans of implementing the ITS , no w ith funds from JnNURM two, buses from hayathnagar, barkatpura musheerabad - 2 and miyapur depots have been fitted with passenger in formation systems and the system is still under trails.Speaking of JnNURM , JnNURM - 1 really helped APSRTC in augmenting the fleet in Hyderabad . GHMC zone which till then showed very little interest in AC buses suddenly had a peculiar love for Marcopolo AC s (which costed them badly though). the delivery of JnNURM buses started in 2009 with the VOLVO AC s and it took almost 18 months to get the full strength of buses.one of the buses from the last lot , Standing Distinct, one Marcopolo was painted in pink and grey a lot distinctive from the earlier green and orange scheme.
